Over the next few weeks, we would like you to complete some more formal bridging work to prepare for you for your KS5 studies.
The work can be found on our website HERE
Summer bridging work has been designed to facilitate independent, self-supported progression from GCSE to Level 3 courses in preparation for KS5. Bridging will be used as an early indicator of student needs and intervention. It will be assessed during the first weeks of teaching and will be reported on.
Your teachers will expect you to hand in these bridging tasks in the first week of teaching. The work should represent 10 – 15 hours' worth of independent study, please do not leave them until the week before.
